Trying to catch up the blog on some of my favorite sessions, and this birth is definitely at the top of the list. The lighting, the love… everything just turned out perfect.. including the baby with a head full of dark hair!

I got the phone call about 4 AM. Dad thought I was awake because he couldn’t believe how chipper and non groggy I was to be awaken from a dead sleep.. hahaha!

For it to be Matison’s first baby, things progressed much faster than most first time moms! I was at the hospital for about an hour, and it was time to start pushing, and she had a baby by 5:21 am!

For whatever reason, the empty baby warmer is always one of my favorite things in the room.. maybe knowing soon the little

brand new life will soon be laying there?!? 🙂
