This baby chonk turns ✨4✨ today! This past week, I dug into the archives to re-edit some greenhouse photos for spring minis, and I stumbled upon the session we did there 🥹 Those squishy baby thighs, the chubby little feet, all those curls, and the sweet moments of nursing—gone in the blink of an eye. And now, Rylan is so much taller than me!! Time is such a thief, but what a gift to our future selves to be able to freeze it through photos 😭 Happy birthday, to my sweet and spicy boy!

Pregnancy feels like a blur—here one moment and gone the next. It’s a whirlwind of discomfort, making it hard to soak it all in. You find yourself wishing time away, just waiting for that sweet baby in your arms. Most women, myself included, don’t always feel their best during pregnancy. I never had a professional photographer capture any of my pregnancies—just my husband—and I SO DEEPLY regret it now. The way a woman’s body grows and nurtures life is truly incredible, and it deserves to be documented. Not just with a few quick snapshots, but with intentional, beautiful images that capture this fleeting season. I may just have to convince my husband we need one more baby so I can finally have a real maternity shoot! 😜 So even if you don’t feel your best (or think you don’t), trust me—you’ll want to remember your baby belly. The best time for maternity photos is between 30-34 weeks, when the bump is bumpin’ but before too much swelling or discomfort kicks in.
