The day after Thanksgiving was a cold windy day. Rylan and I were playing with his Toy Story friends, when Rylan’s Aunt Chelsea came running in the door and said she had saw something flying that was red and green!!! Rylan’s immediate reaction was “MY ELF IS HERE.” I had already mentioned a few times that an elf was coming to watch his behavior for Santa, and he would go back to the North Pole each night to report how Rylan did for the day. When we walked outside, Buddy’s hot air balloon had been caught in the trees! Here is how we spent our first week with Buddy! 🙂
Saturday, Rylan woke up (in his underwear) and Buddy had left trees to decorate. I think more candy ended up in Rylan’s mouth than on his tree.
Sunday Rylan came home from his dad’s house. He has been potty trained for the last 3 weeks, so when he went to the bathroom it was a pleasent surprise that Buddy had caught a few fish. Rylan wanted to eat them :/ LOL!
Buddy the Elf left specific directions to water seeds. Rylan had so much fun checking on them to see if they had grown
Wednesday morning the seeds magically sprouted into these yummy reindeer 🙂
When I was little, my mom always pulled out these Christmas town full of carols, figure skaters, and much much more. Rylan found it a few days prior, and had a BLAST playing with his “Christmas friends” Buddy wanted to play with them too, and had the town all lit up (which Rylan had not known the city plugged in) It brought so much joy to my heart to see his face face fill with delight as he discovered this special magic our elf brought for the day. It might not have been a silly prank like the days before, but I think this has been his favorite day yet. Do you love Buddy’s new scarf he is sporting??
